trying to replace a bent 90 on my -08 hose, is this one the long elbow with a female ORFS swivel and 13/16-16 threads?

fitting says it works with -08 hose, but does it need any kind of mandrel or thread sealant to get it installed right?

No mandrel or thread sealant required with this one. The crimp design and the O-ring face seal connection handle everything you need for a solid, leak-free fit. Just make sure you're working with a compatible -08 hose and your crimp tooling is set up properly for the hose series you're using.
