got a -8 hose setup, is this the right 90 degree fitting for it?

For a -8 hose dash size, this fitting matches that dash size and it’s a 90 degree fitting assembly. It’s also called out for use with H277 or H435 hoses, which is where it’s intended to fit in.

Both of those hose series are compatible with this fitting. It's specifically called out for use with H277 or H435, and the recommendation to use one of those two comes into play especially when shock hazards are part of the operating environment. Either one pairs correctly with this assembly for general purpose low and medium pressure hydraulic lines.
