Product Questions & Answers

Got a rig that sees some hard pressure spikes. Can I run these TTC fittings on lines with shock hazards
Question by: Ronnie J on Nov 2, 2025, 3:07 PM
For systems experiencing shock hazards, you should actually use H277 or H435 instead. General purpose low and medium pressure hydraulics are the correct application for these specific Aeroquip steel crimp fittings.

trying to swap out a fitting on a -16 hose, is this one the straight female swivel with M36 x 2 threads?
Question by: Gary R on Jul 13, 2025, 12:11 PM
Match three things: it is a straight steel crimp fitting for -16 hose, the female end is a German DIN 3902 24 degree flare light duty swivel, and the thread is M36 x 2. If those are what you are replacing, you are in the right ballpark.

i've got -16 hose on the truck, is this the right crimp end for it or am i fixin to order the wrong thing
Question by: Norm M on Sep 7, 2025, 1:29 PM
The key callouts are right in the specs: it is a straight steel crimp fitting made for -16 hose, with an M36 x 2 female German DIN 3902 24 degree flare light duty swivel end. It is also called out for use with H277 or H435 hoses.

fitting says no thread sealant needed - is that right? feels like something you'd wanna tape up anyway
Question by: Frank E on Mar 27, 2025, 7:52 PM
Correct, no thread sealant is required on this one. The M36 x 2 female DIN 3902 24-degree flare connection seals on the flare face itself, not the threads, so adding tape or sealant would actually be unnecessary and could interfere with the seating. Trust the flare geometry to do the work here.
