trying to replace a bent elbow on my -12 line, is this the one with the m36 x 2 female swivel and the 24 degree flare?

Fit comes down to the end details, and this one is a M36 x 2 female German DIN 3902 24 degree flare heavy duty swivel on a 90 degree elbow, built to crimp onto a -12 hose.

Does this fitting work without any thread sealant or do I need to pick something up before I start the job?

No sealant needed and no mandrel either. The M36 x 2 DIN 3902 24-degree flare connection is self-sealing by design, so you can go straight to installation without tracking down extra materials. That makes the process a good bit cleaner on the bench.
