got a 1-11-1/2 male NPT line and need to turn it 90 degrees into a JIC flare, is this the right adapter?

Function-wise, it is a 90 degree elbow adapter that transitions from a 1-11-1/2 male NPT pipe thread (NPTF external pipe) to a 1-1/16-12 male JIC 37 degree flare end.

Got a 1 inch NPT port on a pump housing and need to swing the line out at a right angle, will this fitting make that work with a JIC hose end?
