can this fitting work with both 1 wire and 2 wire braided hose or just one type

Both types work fine with this crimp fitting. The Global TTC design handles standard 1 wire braid and 2 wire braid steel hose equally well when you're working with -08 size hose. Just make sure your crimping die matches the fitting specs and you'll get a solid connection either way.

This crimp fitting is made for -08 hose, so you should be good to go with any standard hose of that size. Just double-check the specs on your hose to be sure it's compatible with a steel crimp fitting.
