Product Questions & Answers

does this adapter go from NPTF on one end to a 37 degree flare on the other, or am I reading that wrong?
Question by: Neil M on Apr 9, 2025, 5:18 PM
You're reading it right. One end is NPTF male at 3/8 inch, and the other end is SAE 37 degree flare male. It's a straight configuration, so there's no angle or offset to account for during installation. Pretty common setup when you're connecting pipe thread to a flare fitting in the same line.

So this thing'll hold up if I'm runnin' hydraulic fluid through it all day long?
Question by: Patty D on Feb 9, 2026, 7:42 AM
This Eaton Aeroquip adapter uses Dura-Kote plating, which offers superior corrosion resistance. That makes it suitable for continuous use with hydraulic fluids, even in demanding environments.

trying to swap out an old straight adapter, is this one the kind that goes from NPTF male to a 37 degree SAE flare?
Question by: Wes T on Jan 7, 2026, 8:13 AM
It connects an NPTF male pipe thread on one end to an SAE 37° male flare on the other, in a straight adapter layout.
