trying to match up a hose end, is this the straight female JIC for a -06 hose with 3/4-16 threads?

You are looking at a straight crimp fitting for -06 hose that has a female JIC 37 degree flare swivel with 3/4-16 threads on the JIC end.

fitting says it takes a -06 hose, does that match up with a 3/4-16 JIC thread end or are those two separate specs?

Those are two separate specs that work together on the same fitting. The 3/4-16 refers to the thread size on the female JIC 37-degree flare end, and the -06 is the hose size the crimp end accepts. So you get a -06 hose connection on one end and a 3/4-16 JIC swivel connection on the other.

Will this fitting work with my H277 hose for a hydraulic system that sometimes sees some pretty good jolts?
