Will this fitting hold up okay in a hydraulic system that sees some shocks and bumps?

fitting says no mandrel needed and no thread sealant either, that right? just want to make sure before i start cutting hose

Correct on both counts. No mandrel is required during installation, and you won't need thread sealant on the G 1/2 male BSP parallel thread. The parallel thread design handles sealing as part of the connection, so you can skip that step entirely. Keeps the install straightforward.
