Is this fitting okay for hooking up hydraulics on a tractor, or is it more for lighter-duty stuff?

This Aeroquip fitting is designed for general purpose, low and medium pressure hydraulic applications. It should work fine as long as your tractor's hydraulics fall within those pressure ranges. If there's a chance of shock hazards, it's recommended to use H277 or H435 hose with it.
