Product Questions & Answers

got an a/c line on a work truck that takes -10 hose. is this GH001-10 the right size?
Question by: Denise B on Aug 30, 2025, 2:07 PM
Fit-wise, GH001-10 is a -10 dash size hose, so it matches systems that call for -10 A/C and refrigeration hose. It is the Eaton Aeroquip EverCool GH001 series and it’s built for air conditioning and refrigeration service in construction, agriculture, and truck applications.

Running R1234yf in a fleet of ag equipment and need to know if this hose can handle it. What's the effusion rate look like on that refrigerant?
Question by: Patty T on Jul 10, 2025, 6:03 PM
For R1234yf, the effusion rate on this hose comes in at less than 1 kg per square meter per year at 80 degrees C. R134a runs a little higher at under 1.5 kg per square meter per year at the same temperature. Both fall within acceptable limits for the SAE J2064 Type E Class 2 certification this hose carries, so you're in good shape for either refrigerant in your equipment.

What kind of fittings work with this hose, cause I've had some trouble getting the right ones before.
Question by: Joyce B on Sep 26, 2025, 11:16 AM
This AQP Refrig Hose is qualified for use with either EZ Clip or factory crimp fittings, so you have a couple of options there to get a solid connection.
