Trying to figure out if this'll hook up to my existing hydraulic lines on a piece of construction equipment. It's got a 1/4-18 female pipe thread on the body side, that match up right?

The body end on this fitting is a 1/4-18 NPT female, so if your mating component has a 1/4-18 male NPT thread, you're good to go. The push-to-connect end is a -04 coupling size, which conforms to ISO 7241/1 Series A dimensions. That standard compliance means it'll mate with other Series A couplings of the same size without issue.

does this thing work with standard ISO Series A couplings or do I need something special on the other end

it conforms dimensionally to ISO 7241/1 Series A, so it'll mate up with other Series A couplings without any adapter tricks. The PUSH-PULL ball latch handles the connection and disconnection, and the self-sealing poppet valve closes off both sides when you pull them apart, keeping fluid loss down to around 0.50 cubic centimeters per disconnect. Pretty straightforward fit for most hydraulic setups already running that standard.
