got a tight spot to run hose, how tight can i bend this -8 Synflex before it starts kinkin

For routing in cramped areas, the minimum bend radius on this hose is 2.75, so you want to keep your bends at or above that radius to avoid stressing the hose.

hose says it's twice as light as wire braided rubber, does that actually make a difference when you're routing through tight spots on equipment?

Weight adds up fast when you're working with longer runs or awkward routing paths. Being half the weight of comparable wire braided rubber hose means less strain on fittings and mounting points, and it's a lot easier to maneuver into place during installation. The 2.75 inch minimum bend radius helps too, so you've got real flexibility for tight or complex routing without having to force it into position and risk kinking.
