Product Questions & Answers

Got a compressor discharge line that runs hot and sees a pretty wide swing in temps throughout the day. Would this hose hold up to that kind of duty without breaking down over time?

PTFE tube material handles wide temperature swings well, and this hose is rated down to -65 degrees on the low end with a design built around compressor discharge as one of its primary uses. The stainless steel braided cover adds durability against the kind of wear you'd expect in that environment, and the construction is specifically noted to withstand vibration and impulsing, which is common on compressor lines. One thing worth knowing: it's not recommended for steam-cold water cycling applications, so if that's part of your setup, this wouldn't be the right fit. Straight compressor discharge without that cycling pattern is well within what this hose is built for.
