Is this fitting somethin' I can just screw on, or do I need special tools to get it on the hose?

fitting's got a Dura-Kote finish on it -- that hold up alright in wet or greasy shop conditions?

Carbon steel fittings without a protective coating can rust out pretty fast in those kinds of environments, but the Dura-Kote plating on this one is specifically there to fight corrosion. It's built to handle the kind of exposure that comes with everyday industrial use, so a greasy or moisture-heavy shop shouldn't be a problem for the finish.
