What kind of attachments work best with this hose? I'm not seeing a lot of options here.

For fitting attachments, crimp, swage, and preformed clamps are all good choices. Band-It Jr preformed clamps and band and buckle setups are also recommended.

need a 2 inch hose for sucking up muddy water and pumping it back out, is that what this one’s for

Built for water suction and discharge work, it’s intended for pumping water, mud, and slurries, and it also covers transferring and hauling salt water (brine).
