Product Questions & Answers

Reckon this stack valve would hold up okay in a hydraulic system running pretty much non-stop all day?
Question by: Dean W on Nov 3, 2025, 1:39 PM
This SystemStak pilot-operated check valve is rated for a maximum operating pressure of 4500 PSI, constructed with a ductile iron body and hardened steel internal parts, suggesting it's built for rugged use. Filtration is recommended at ISO level 20/16 up to 3000 PSI and ISO level 18/14 over 3000 PSI to ensure longevity.

what's the cracking pressure on this valve and will it hold up running petroleum oil all day in a hot shop?
Question by: Rex M on Oct 11, 2025, 4:19 PM
Cracking pressure on this one is 14.5 PSI. For petroleum oil, the fluid temperature range runs from -4°F up to 176°F, so a warm shop environment falls well within spec. The body is ductile iron rated to 4500 PSI, with hardened steel internals and Viton seals standard, so it's built for continuous industrial use without babying.

what's the cracking pressure on this valve, and is 14.5 PSI gonna be low enough for most standard hydraulic setups?
Question by: Cody S on Aug 29, 2025, 10:12 AM
At 14.5 PSI, the cracking pressure is on the lower end, which works well for systems that need the check to open without a lot of back pressure building up first. The pilot comes from the B port and acts on the A port check, so flow in that direction stays blocked until the pilot signal from B reaches the threshold. With a 3:1 pilot ratio, you don't need a massive pilot pressure to get things moving. The valve is rated up to 4500 PSI maximum operating pressure, so there's plenty of headroom for high-pressure systems even with that low cracking threshold.

got a DGMPC-3-ABK-41 on a machine now. is this the same one, or is that 41 design something different
Question by: Darryl C on Feb 20, 2026, 2:03 PM
For a straight replacement match, the model number on this valve is DGMPC-3-ABK-41, and the supplier part number is 870024. It is an NFPA-D03 SystemStak pilot operated check with a single pilot check in A that is piloted from B, with 14.5 PSI cracking pressure and a 3:1 pilot ratio.

Hey, will this thing fit a standard D03 pattern? I'm trying to keep my footprint small.
Question by: Curt R on Dec 24, 2025, 7:56 PM
It sure will. This SystemStak valve conforms to the NFPA-D03 size, which should make it easy to integrate into existing setups.
