trying to hook an ORB port to a JIC hose end, is this the right adapter for that?

For tying those two connection styles together, it matches a 7/8-14 male SAE O-ring boss on one end and a 9/16-18 male JIC 37 degree flare on the other, in a straight steel adapter.
