got a hose end that’s 7/16-20 JIC, will this adapter screw right into a 3/8-18 pipe port on the other side?

For connecting those two thread standards, it’s the right style. One end is 3/8-18 male NPTF pipe thread and the other end is 7/16-20 male SAE 37 degree flare (JIC), and it’s a straight steel adapter.
