both ends are 9/16-18 on this thing? just want to make sure before i order, been burned before buying fittings that looked right but weren't

both connections are 9/16-18. One end is a male JIC 37-degree flare and the other is a female JIC swivel with the same 37-degree flare angle. Both conform to SAE J514, so if your lines are spec'd to that standard at that thread size, you're looking at the right fitting.

got a hose end that’s #6 female JIC swivel, will this elbow screw right into it and still give me a #6 male on the other side?

On the swivel side you get a #6 female JIC swivel 37 degree flare with 9/16-18 threads, and the other end is a #6 male JIC SAE 37 degree flare, also 9/16-18. So it’s made to mate a #6 female JIC swivel connection to a #6 male JIC flare connection, in a 90 degree elbow.
