Reckon this'll hold up okay in a hydraulic system running close to that 6,000 PSI rating?

Got a 1/2 inch male NPTF port on my manifold and need to step it down to a 1/4 inch female, will this bushing handle that transition straight out of the box?

That's what this reducer bushing is built for. The male end is 1/2-14 NPTF and the female end is 1/4-18 NPTF, so it drops the port size down just like you're describing. Both threads conform to SAE J476, and the bushing is rated up to 6,000 PSI dynamic pressure, so it'll hold up in most high-pressure hydraulic setups without any issue.
