got a 3/4-14 male nptf port on one side and need to step down to 1/4-18 male nptf on the other. is this the right reducer nipple?

For reducing between those two male pipe thread sizes, this hex nipple is a 3/4-14 Male NPTF on one end and a 1/4-18 Male NPTF on the other, with both ends conforming to SAE J476.
