What size tubing does this nut fit?

This tube nut is designed to fit 0.38-inch tubes, which is just a hair over 3/8 of an inch.

got a 3/8 inch tube i need to reconnect on a hydraulic line, this nut gonna work for that size?

For 3/8-inch OD tubing, yes, this is the right fit. The FC2875-06S is built specifically for 0.38-inch tube with a 9/16-18 female JIC 37-degree flare connection. Just make sure the tube end is cut clean and deburred before you slide the nut and ferrule on, and lubricate the mating surfaces before you tighten everything down. Get that prep right and it'll seal up solid.
