The FC234 is a qualified hose under SAE J1942-1 and meets the USCG Type A1 standard, which already includes flame resistance and increased permeation resistance built into the construction. Both fuels are covered. The FC234-08 is built to handle gasoline, diesel, hot lube oil, and water, so running either fuel type through it won't be an issue for a marine setup.
