trying to match up a fitting i pulled off, is this one the straight 1/8-27 male pipe end for a -04 hose?

The key callouts on this part are a 1/8-27 male NPTF pipe thread on one end and a -04 hose connection on the other, in a straight configuration. If your old fitting matches those two sizes and the male pipe style, it is the same basic hookup.

fitting says no mandrel required, that true? trying to figure out if i need to order any extra tooling before this shows up

No mandrel is needed for assembly with this fitting. That means once you've got the right crimper and your hose cut to length, you're not waiting on any additional tooling to get the job done. Keeps the setup pretty straightforward.
