got a setup with 1-1/2-11-1/2 npt threads on both sides, is this adapter just a straight male-to-male to join two female ports?

Function-wise, it is a straight adapter with 1-1/2-11-1/2 male NPT on both ends, so it is meant to connect two components that each have a matching 1-1/2-11-1/2 female NPT port.

what's the thread size on both ends of this adapter? trying to figure out if it'll work in place of a fitting that went bad on my press line

Both ends are 1-1/2 inch NPT male, running 11-1/2 threads per inch. So if the port or fitting you're replacing is also 1-1/2 NPT female on both sides, this one should drop right in without any size mismatch to worry about.
