Product Questions & Answers

i got a system running right at 3000 psi pretty regular. what kind of burst rating does this hose have to handle spikes
Question by: Larry C on Jan 13, 2026, 5:34 PM
Spikes are covered up to 12000 PSI before the line fails. The maximum operating pressure is strictly rated for 3000 PSI for regular use so you have a solid four to one safety factor built in for those sudden surges.

hose rated for 3000 PSI, that hold up on continuous hydraulic runs or is that more of a peak number?
Question by: Kirk G on Aug 21, 2025, 8:42 PM
3000 PSI is the working pressure rating, so it's built to handle that load in regular service, not just momentary spikes. The burst pressure on this hose is 12,000 PSI, which gives you a 4:1 safety factor over the working rating. For continuous hydraulic duty, that working pressure figure is what you're operating against, and this hose is built to meet or exceed SAE 100R16 and DIN requirements at those levels. The double wire braid reinforcement is what carries that load, so it's not a one-time peak spec.

got a tight spot to snake a 1 inch hydraulic line through. how tight can this GH781 hose bend without kinkin it
Question by: Warren T on Aug 1, 2025, 8:43 AM
Minimum bend radius on this hose is 6 inches. If you route it tighter than that, you are more likely to stress the reinforcement and shorten hose life.
