Trying to match up a fitting i pulled off an old hose, is this one a straight female JIC swivel with 1-1/16-12 threads for a -12 hose?

fitting says it's reusable -- how exactly does that work when you go to pull it off a hose? does the whole thing come apart or just part of it

The three-piece construction is what makes reuse possible. You can fully disassemble it, pull it off the old hose, inspect the pieces, and reassemble it onto a new hose without needing a replacement fitting. No special tools or sealant required during reassembly either, since the JIC 37-degree flare connection seals on the metal-to-metal flare angle itself.
