Will this seal work with any other thread types besides BSPP?

what size thread does this seal fit exactly, and is it the same as what folks call a 1-1/2 inch BSPP fitting?

Right on both counts. The seal is made for G 1-1/2 - 11 thread, which is the standard BSPP designation for a 1-1/2 inch British parallel pipe thread. If your fitting is calling out that same size and thread type, this is the seal you want.
