Got a machine running British pipe fittings on one end and JIC lines on the other. Will this adapter actually bridge them two thread types without needing extra pieces in between?

That's what this fitting handles. One end is a 3/4" Male BSPP threaded to the G 3/4-14 standard, and the other is a 1/2" Female JIC swivel cut to 3/4-16 UNF. Those two thread types connect directly through this single adapter, no extra couplings or conversion hardware needed. got a port that’s G 3/4-14 BSPP on the block, will this adapter screw in there and give me a 1/2" JIC swivel on the hose side?

For tying those two standards together, it’s a straight steel adapter with a 3/4 inch male BSPP end (G 3/4-14) and a 1/2 inch female JIC swivel end (3/4-16 UNF). That lets a BSPP port mate up to a JIC 37 degree flare connection without stacking extra conversion fittings.
