Product Questions & Answers

What kind of fittings should I use with this hose for sandblasting?
Question by: Tony A on Oct 10, 2025, 2:27 PM
Sandblast couplings designed to attach to the outside diameter of the hose are the recommended type of fitting.

hose says up to 150 PSI, that enough for regular sandblasting on steel or concrete?
Question by: Duane C on Jul 5, 2025, 1:03 PM
For most surface prep work on steel or concrete, 150 PSI is right in line with standard sandblasting pressure ranges. This hose is built specifically for conveying sand or shot from sandblast equipment, so it's not a general-purpose air hose pressed into service. The natural rubber tube and four-ply textile reinforcement are there to handle abrasive media, which is where a lot of hoses fall short fast.

got a sandblast pot and need a 1/2 inch line, is this hose actually 0.50 ID or is that just close?
Question by: Dwayne R on Mar 6, 2026, 7:20 PM
For sizing, the inside diameter is listed as 0.50 inch, with an outside diameter of 1.06 inch. It is sold in a 100 foot reel length.

hose is rated to 150 psi, that enough for typical sandblasting work or do most setups run higher than that?
Question by: Lance A on Oct 4, 2025, 10:48 AM
For most standard sandblasting use, 150 PSI covers the working pressure range you'd encounter day to day. Pot-fed blast systems running abrasive media through a half-inch bore generally operate well within that ceiling. Just make sure your compressor output and nozzle sizing keep your line pressure under that rated max, and you're in good shape.
