Built for wet exhaust systems, the single hump section is there to absorb misalignment, movement, and vibration. It also helps cut down back pressure and noise compared to a rigid straight connection.

It's designed with a single hump that allows for some misalignment, movement, and vibration in your wet exhaust system. The hump is 4.5 inches in outer diameter, which should provide a good bit of flexibility.

Clamps are included with the hose, so you won't need to track those down separately. That said, the installation notes call for a minimum of two stainless steel clamps at each end, at least half an inch wide. The included clamps should cover your basic needs, but if you're going with T-bolt or constant torque clamps for a more secure setup, those are worth picking up on their own. Just make sure whatever you use meets that half-inch minimum width requirement.
