Will this work for a direct drive setup, or do I need extra support for radial loads?

got a direct-coupled setup. is this pump meant to be driven straight off the shaft, or do i need to worry about side load on it?

For direct axial drive, it’s a good fit since that’s the recommended application. Side loading is the thing to watch, because the notes call out that radial and thrust loads are a case where you want extra application support rather than treating it like a side-load tolerant pump.
