got a cylinder gland that measures 6.00 id and 6.50 od, is this packing set the right size or am i reading that backwards

what's the pressure rating on one of these sets, and does it change depending on how many vee rings are in it?

Pressure capacity does scale with the number of vee rings. A 4-vee configuration handles up to 3,000 PSI, a 5-vee set is rated to 5,000 PSI, and a 6-vee set goes up to 10,000 PSI. So if you're running a higher-pressure cylinder, you'd want to make sure you're ordering the right configuration for that application.
