Reckon this here joystick would work alright with a 2-spool setup, one bein' a 3-position and the other a 4-position float spool?

This cross lever is indeed designed for exactly that setup – 2-spools, one 3-position, and one 4-position float spool. It's made to coordinate control between those two sections in the actuator.
