What kind of fluid should I be using in this valve assembly? Don't want to mess anything up.

The optimal fluid viscosity for this VD6A series kit is between 12 cSt and 75 cSt. It can handle a minimum of 10 cSt and a maximum of 400 cSt, but those aren't the sweet spot.
