part number C1DM61, is that the same gear as the U-0996L-05, or am I lookin at somethin different?

Same part, just two different ways to reference it. C1DM61 is an alternate part number for the Permco 1/2 3000 Gear, and U-0996L-05 is the primary SKU. Either one gets you to the same component, so if your old paperwork or machine records show C1DM61, you're in the right place.
