does this fitting work with H277 hose or do i need something different for that?

H277 is actually one of the hoses this fitting is rated for, along with H435. Both of those are the recommended choices when your application has shock hazard conditions. The fitting is sized for -12 hose, so as long as your H277 is a -12, you're good to go.

Will this fitting hold up okay in a hydraulic system that sees a good amount of vibration?

For systems prone to shock, this crimp fitting is a solid choice, especially when used with H277 or H435 hoses.
