Trying to replace a bent elbow, is this the 90 degree swivel ORFS female for a -08 hose with 13/16-16 threads?

fitting says it works with H277 or H435 hose, does that mean it won't work on other hose types, or is that just where it's been tested for shock applications?

For shock hazard environments specifically, H277 and H435 are the hose types called out for use with this fitting. Outside of shock conditions, it's rated for general purpose low and medium pressure hydraulics, so the hose pairing requirements are really tied to the application severity more than anything else.
