Will this fitting work with a standard -12 hose, or does it need something special?

fitting says it works for low and medium pressure hydraulics, does that mean i cant run it on anything with shock loads or is there a workaround?

For lines where shock loads or pressure spikes are a concern, you'd want to pair this fitting with H277 or H435 hose. That combination is specifically called out for shock hazard situations, so you're not stuck avoiding those conditions entirely, you just need the right hose matched to it.

trying to swap out an old hose end, is this one a -12 with a 90 and a female ORFS swivel
