got a -08 hose and need a straight female ORFS swivel, is this the right crimp end?

That's what this fitting is built for. It's a straight configuration with a 1-3/16-12 female O-ring face seal swivel termination, and it's sized for -08 hose. No mandrel needed during installation, and you won't need thread sealant on the ORS end either since the face seal does that work for you.
