ive got a -08 hose, will this elbow crimp fitting match up and still let me swivel it into place?

It is a 90 degree elbow crimp fitting made for -08 hose, and the male end is a 3/4-16 SAE O-Ring Boss swivel. That combo is meant to let you clock the fitting where you need it while still using the ORB straight thread O-ring seal.

Reckon this fitting will hold up okay for general hydraulic work on my tractor?

Application-wise, it's made for general-purpose low to medium pressure hydraulic setups. If your tractor's hydraulics are within that range, and you're not dealing with extreme shock, it should do the job. For shock hazards, best pair it with H277 or H435 hoses.
