does this fitting work with both 1 wire and 2 wire braid hoses, or just one of em?

Both are covered. The TTC series is rated for use with 1 and 2 wire braid hose, so you're not locked into one type. For applications where shock hazards are a concern, the H277 or H435 hose is the right pairing to go with this fitting.
