Just want to make sure, will this fitting work with my H277 hose?

Yes, this fitting is designed to work with H277 hose, especially where there might be shock hazards. It's also compatible with H435 hose if that's what you're using.

fitting says it works for 1 and 2 wire braid hose, does that mean i can use it on either type or do i need a specific one for each?

Both hose constructions are covered with a single fitting here. Whether you've got 1-wire or 2-wire braid hose on hand, this fitting is built to work with either. Just make sure you're running -08 hose size and you're good to go.
