got a -16 hose and need a straight male JIC end, is this the right one or am i missin something

fitting says no mandrel needed, that right? just crimp it straight onto the -16 hose without any insert or anything?

For 1 and 2 wire braid hose in the -16 size, yes, no mandrel is required during assembly. That keeps the process cleaner and faster, especially when you're building lines in the field or on a tight schedule. Just make sure your crimper is set up correctly for the hose OD and follow the crimp spec for this fitting series.
