trying to swap out an old elbow fitting, what thread is on the swivel end for this one?

On the swivel end you are looking at a 1-5/16-12 female JIC 37 degree flare connection.

The 1-5/16-12 is the thread specification on the female JIC swivel end, meaning it connects to a port or adapter with matching 1-5/16-12 threads and a 37-degree flare seat. The -16 refers to the hose end, so you need a -16 hose to crimp onto the other side. Two different measurements, two different ends.

It's made for general purpose, low to medium pressure hydraulic applications, especially where you might have shock hazards. So, yeah, it should be pretty durable.

got a -16 hose and need a 45 degree turn, is this the right crimp end if i want a female JIC swivel
