Trying to match up a hose end, is 1A8FL8 the straight SAE Code 61 split flange for a -08 hose with that 1.19 inch flange size?

It’s a straight steel crimp fitting made for -08 hose and it uses a 1.19 inch SAE Code 61 split flange connection.

fitting says no thread sealant needed during install, that right? just want to make sure before i put it on wrong

Correct, no thread sealant is required for this fitting. The SAE Code 61 split flange connection seals mechanically, so adding sealant would be unnecessary and could actually interfere with a proper fit. No mandrel is needed during installation either, which keeps the process straightforward.
