got a -24 hose and need a 90 that goes to a code 61 split flange, is this the right fitting?

fitting's rated for low and medium pressure work -- does that mean it'll hold up alright on a standard ag hydraulic system, or is this more of a light-duty shop thing?

Low and medium pressure general-purpose hydraulic circuits are exactly where this fitting is at home. Farm equipment, shop presses, loader circuits -- that kind of work is well within scope. The one thing worth knowing upfront is that if your system sees significant shock loads or pressure spikes, the product data specifically calls out H277 or H435 hose as the right pairing for those conditions rather than standard 1 or 2 wire braid.
