we got some heavy shock on our current setup. is this fitting good for that kind of abuse

General purpose low and medium pressure hydraulics are the main target for these parts. You will want to switch over to the H277 or H435 lines if your system experiences shock hazards.

got a system running H277 hose and we keep dealing with shock loads on the line, will this fitting hold up to that kind of use?

H277 is one of the two hoses this fitting is specifically paired with when shock hazards are present, so you're in good shape there. The 1A Series from Aeroquip by Eaton has a solid track record in general-purpose hydraulic work, and the steel construction holds up well where lines see repeated pressure spikes. Just make sure you're crimping to spec and you should be good to go.
