got a -12 hose on a low to medium pressure hydraulic setup, is this the right crimp fitting for it?

It’s designed for general purpose low and medium pressure hydraulic applications. If your farm equipment operates within those pressure ranges and you have a -12 hose size, it should work well. It's especially suited where there might be some shock.

General purpose low and medium pressure hydraulics is the intended range for this fitting. It handles those applications well, but if your system runs into shock hazard conditions, Eaton Aeroquip points you toward the H277 or H435 hose series instead. Worth keeping that in mind before you spec it into anything with pressure spikes.
